Winterstay at Quinta do Retiro
In recent years we have received many couples who has decided to escape their nothern European home country during the cold and wet winter months. Winters in this part of Portugal are mild and relatively short with average temperatures about 10 degrees higher compared to the UK. On clear weather days it can freeze a few degrees at night, but that is often an indication that a beautiful sunny day will follow with temperatures on average of 15-17 degrees. Although out of the wind, this often feels higher.
